Alex was born in Frankfurt, Germany on February 7th, 1975. He studied music at the Los Angeles Music Academy with teachers such as Frank Gambale, Jeff Richman, Linda Taylor etc.

After returning to Germany in 1998, Alex worked as a guitar teacher and joined the rock/pop band "Reinvented" and toured Germany with other bands such as Reamon, H-Blockx, Guano Apes and many others.

In 2003 the band split up and he started to work on music for game projects. Finally in 2005 Alex joined Dynamedion to work on games, trailers and other multimedia projects.
